So I'm surfing not-in-Kabul when I'm dialed in on a wave, paddling hard, when I look up and this dude on a paddle board to my right decides HE wants the wave...I back off, not wanting to look like a drop-in jackass, figuring that "hey, he has position"...

Well, this happens 4 times in a row, when I realize he's just a dick...do I just drop in, take him out, & come up punching, or just "let it slide"...

I took a breath, mentioned it to a guy next to me in the line-up, and he said "oh yeah - he's a dick - don't worry - he's gotten his and will continue to receive bad karma"...or something like that...

So, in essence, by backing of, on my deathbed I will receive total consciousness...how cool is that?

Ford came to an agreement today with the UAW to get average wages "down" to about $55/hour all-inclusive (that's $110, 000/year for those of you keeping score at home).

Wow - you make crappy, unimaginative cars and you reward the assembly monkeys with a salary the would make an MBA blush...and people wonder why the Detroit Lions (the Ford family's football team) has sucked for so long - as bondtrader El Niño Alaska has mused in the past, "when the fish stinks, it stinks from the head"...bad management can kill anything...
